Traditional Ceremonial Matcha Recipe

Traditional Ceremonial Matcha

Ingredients:

 Utensils:

Instructions:

  1. Preparing the Matcha:

  2. Heat the water:

    • Heat the water to 80°C (if you don't have a thermometer, bring the water to a boil and wait 2-3 minutes for it to cool slightly).
  3. Whisk the Matcha:

    • Pour the hot water into the bowl with our  House Matcha Ceremonial.
    • Use the chasen to whisk quickly in a "W" shape until you achieve a light froth on the surface. This ensures that the powder is fully mixed and that the tea has a velvety texture.
  4. Serve and Enjoy:

    • Take it directly from the bowl to enjoy the ceremonial experience.

We recommend you:

  • This method highlights the natural flavor and sweet notes of Nishio matcha.
  • If you prefer a lighter flavor, you can slightly increase the amount of water.
  • For a modern touch, you can add a pinch of yuzu or lemon zest, which pairs very well with the richness of matcha.
