How to make a Frappé Coffee?

Frappé coffee is a refreshing drink made with coffee, served over ice and topped with foam.

Beat the heat with a refreshing espresso frappé, prepared with simple ingredients. A touch of our intense Dfrnt coffee with creamy foam, perfect to enjoy in summer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of espresso coffee (approximately 60 ml)
  • 100 ml cold water
  • 100 ml of cold milk (of your choice: whole, skimmed, vegetable)
  • Crushed ice
  • Whipped cream

Utensils:

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the espresso: Extract 2 shots of fresh espresso using your espresso machine.
  2. Chill the espresso: Allow the espresso to cool slightly while you prepare the other ingredients.
  3. Combine ingredients: In a tall glass, add the cooled espresso, cold milk and sugar (if using).
  4. Add crushed ice: Fill the glass halfway with crushed ice.
  5. Froth the coffee: If you want a frothier frappe, use an electric mixer or hand whisk to beat the coffee, milk and sugar mixture until creamy.
  6. Add the whipped cream: Place a layer of whipped cream on top of the frappé.
  7. Garnish (optional): Sprinkle cocoa powder, cinnamon or chocolate chips over your frappe.
  8. Enjoy: Gently stir to combine the flavors in our Dfrnt Carafe and enjoy your refreshing espresso frappé.

Tips:

  • For a more intense flavor, use dark roast coffee.
  • If you don't have an electric mixer, you can use a hand mixer, but keep in mind that it will take longer to get the desired texture.
  • You can adjust the amount of sugar to your taste.
  • If you want a more liquid frappé, add a little more cold water or milk.
  • You can decorate your frappé coffee with cocoa powder, cinnamon or chocolate chips.

Variations:

  • Mocha Frappé: Add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the coffee mixture before blending.
  • Hazelnut Frappé: Add a tablespoon of hazelnut syrup to cold milk before mixing with the coffee.
  • Caramel Frappé: Add a tablespoon of caramel syrup to cold milk before mixing with coffee.
