How Does the Premium AeroPress Work?
The AeroPress Premium uses a 3-in-1 technology to prepare coffee quickly and efficiently. First, water is poured over the coffee grounds, creating a smooth and airy mixture. Then, in the immersion process, the water penetrates the grounds to extract a deep and full-bodied flavor. Finally, the air pressure pushes the coffee through the filters, removing the grounds and bitter oils, resulting in a rich and smooth coffee, with the richness of espresso.
Premium AeroPress Filter Coffee Recipe:
If you are new to using the AeroPress or simply want to experiment with a classic filter recipe, here is an easy-to-follow recipe for making delicious coffee with the AeroPress Premium.
Ingredients:
- 14 grams of ground coffee (preferably medium grind)
- 220 ml of hot water (at about 90-96°C)
- 1 AeroPress paper filter (or a reusable metal filter)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Premium AeroPress:
- Place a paper filter in the filter lid and rinse it with hot water to eliminate the paper taste and preheat the coffee maker. If you are using a metal filter, you can also rinse it with hot water.
-
Add the ground coffee:
- Place the AeroPress over a sturdy cup or jar and add the 14 grams of ground coffee.
-
Add the hot water:
- Pour the 220 ml of hot water over the ground coffee. Do it in gentle circles to ensure that all the grounds are evenly moistened. Stir with the stainless steel stirrer to mix well.
-
Immerse and press:
- Let the coffee rest for about 30 seconds to allow the aromas and flavors of the coffee to be released.
- Then, place the plunger in the chamber and press down gently for 20-30 seconds. The air pressure will remove the grounds and filter the coffee, leaving you with a rich and smooth drink.
-
Enjoy your coffee:
- Remove the AeroPress and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee. If you prefer a more diluted coffee, you can add a little hot water.
Additional Tips:
- Adjust the amount of coffee to your taste. If you prefer a stronger coffee, add a little more ground coffee.
- The AeroPress Premium also allows you to experiment with different brewing methods, such as the inverted method, although, as mentioned in the safety instructions, it is better to avoid it to prevent possible accidents.
